Carbide bush is used as a guide in many industries . Also in some other industries carbide bush is used  for better wear resistance.
For Example:

1. In Stranding machine : Many carbide bushes are used in stranding machine. Some machines use approximate 72 carbide bushes  at one time, some other machines use only about 50 carbide bushes
2. In Jig fixtures also these carbide bushes are used as a wire guide for drills etc.
3. In many industries carbide bush is used as a seal ring.
